Name: Canien (trans. Exilic Quenya for Bold One)
Relationships to Canon Characters:
Father: Caranthir
Mother: Haleth
Race: Half-elven
Canon: Tolkien's Legendarium

Personality: Stubborn, intelligent, observant, protective, loyal
Background: She grew up with the Haladrim, her father visiting when he could. When Haleth died, she made sure their people didn't need her any longer and followed her father to continue learning. They'd agreed she wouldn't make it known who her parents were, as many of the Avari ('Wild Elves') did, as a measure of safety while still able to stay close as long as was safe enough. She left before Caranthir and his brothers invaded Menegroth, and struck out on her own, though she did eventually go to Cirdan to learn how to sail and work on ships.

For the most part, she stayed in the background of the war against Melkor and Sauron, choosing instead to strike when least expected. Then later, to mostly help protect those still fighting in skirmishes.
